Open since July 1, 2023, Strasbourg’s planetarium is a gateway to the mysteries of the universe. It offers an educational and immersive experience for astronomy enthusiasts, the curious and science buffs alike.

The Strasbourg Planetarium is a one-of-a-kind facility. It invites visitors to embark on a journey beyond the stars, where the night sky reveals its secrets. Featuring state-of-the-art technology, the Planetarium offers 360-degree projections that transport the public to unexplored worlds. Spectators are immersed in an immersive visual and audio experience, discovering constellations, planets and celestial phenomena.
An Interactive Journey into the Universe
This is not a simple projection of stars on a screen, but a complete immersion in astronomy. Presentations are interactive, with animators guiding visitors through the cosmos, explaining the movements of the planets, the phases of the moon, and much more.
Varied programs
The Planetarium offers a wide range of programs to suit all ages and levels of expertise. From shows aimed at young audiences to more advanced presentations for astronomy enthusiasts, there’s something for everyone. In addition, special events, lectures and workshops are regularly organized to enrich the experience.
The Christmas vacation program :
- Beyond the Sun : Tuesday to Sunday: 11:30 a.m. (Recommended for ages 7 and up)
- Mondes vivants : Tuesday to Sunday, 2pm (recommended for ages 11 and up)
- Noisettes : Tuesday to Sunday: 10 a.m. (recommended for ages 6 and up)
- Le ciel autour de Noël : Tuesday to Sunday: 3:30pm
